Kenny Chesney - The Boys of Fall

Love this video.
Love the coaches speech at the beginning.....
I hope my boys enjoy this time of their lives,
because this time of their life is short!
As a mom, I love this time of year watching my boys play football!
Have Fun! Play Hard! Dream Big.........
Daniel, Hunter and Noah,
My Boys of Fall!!!!!

Noah's Bike

The last little while Noah has been obsessed with riding his bike!
Last year for his Birthday he got this really cool BYU Bike!
I had to special order it......
needless to say it was the best Birthday present ever and he was so surprised!
We don't live in the best place for riding bikes for a kid,
but he has recently taken to riding the trails and all.
Now he is begging to ride to school...
the only problem with riding DOWN to school
is that eventually,
you have to ride UP to get home!!!

Noah said that his favoreite things about his bike are the
wheels/spokes, and the seat!

It really is an awesome bike!
Especially when you are a big BYU fan like Noah!
It is his dream bike...............
Lucky Boy!!!!!

McKenzie update.....

McKenzie has been at Utah State for a week now.
She started her first real classes today.
She called and said "so far so good!!!"
She loves her roommates and is having tons of fun!
These pictures were taken at the Cul De Sac of Fire
the week before she left......

Saturday Football..........

(I love this picture)

Saturday was the start of Football Games for us with a day filled with football
starting with Daniels game against the other L.P. team.
Daniels team came away with the win
with a score of 8 to 0.
Daniel was responsible for the touchdown drive and extra points!
He did a great job!!
I love watching his age group play football!

Calling the play in the huddle....
and on the line of scrimmage.

#8 on the other team (next to #89)
is one of Daniels best friends. Richie Winn.
They really wanted to be on the same team this year......
We laughed when we saw him in this picture watching Daniel.

After the game even though they won the game
the team gets to listen to the coach tell them everything they need to do better
for the next game!!

Next.....
We went to Noah's game!
Boy what an improvement he has made over last year.......
this year he rarely came out of the game playing both
offense and defense.
Unlike last year when he barely went into a game.
They played an Orem team
and beat them 54 - 0
(that is not a typo)
You know it is bad when as a parent you start hoping the other team will score!

I love these pictures where you see the name on the back of the Jersey!
They are my favorite!
He has to have N. Patterson on his Jersey because James cousins son also plays
on the team and he has the last name Patterson too!
Noah loves having the N on his jersey.
He thinks it makes him more special than Daniel and Hunter who just have "Patterson"!

There is a lot of pushing and shoving going on in this age group.

Love this picture!
It looks like he is having a conversation with the ref!
So cute!

After the morning of victories,
(the team Bobby coaches also won)
We took everyone out to lunch/dinner
and let Daniel and Noah pick where we went.
Of course they picked Chuck o Rama for their victory dinner!
Something about getting to eat all you want and whatever you want!
If you just want deserts that is o.k.

After that we headed up to the University of Utah
where Lone Peak was playing Mountain Crest.
Mountain Crest is one of the top 4A teams in the state and was expected to win!
Surprise! Lone Peak was victorious 23-13!

Hunter Playing on the Pink Barbie Phone!

Noah just looks EVIL!

Funniest Picture!
Just what is #88 putting in that kids pants!

Chase Hansen is the quarterback and lives in our ward.
He had over 400 yards of offense!
It was a good game for him!

After the Lone Peak game we stayed and watched the
Bingham - Alta Game.
The last 5 years one of these two teams has won the 5A Championship.
So we were watching the best of high school football.
Bingham won 49 - 26.

The fun thing about playing/watching at Rice Eccles Stadium
was being able to watch the replays on the big screen!

After a long hot day of Football games
the ride home was pretty Quiet!

Fun Saturday full of Football!
Best of all.....full of wins!
Winning isn't everything, but it is a lot more fun than losing!

My Smile For The Day........

This morning I was looking for a picture of Noah that he needed for school
and I came across this picture of Dakota when he was about 2!
So this was him about 3 years ago!
I could not stop laughing!!!!
Love this kid! He is so cute!
Especially when he is crying like this!
Poor little guy!!!

First Day of 2nd Grade

The Boys think they are all too old for me to document their first days of school.
Because Daniel and Hunter are in Jr. High I let them pass on the pictures...
but Noah I would not let him get away with not letting me take his picture.
He was not happy about it, but said I could take pictures at home
but nowhere else.............................................

Oops! Just happened to have my camera in the car!
Just couldn't pass up the opportunity to get him at the bus stop too!
Can't believe my baby is in 2nd grade!
His teacher this year is Mrs. Walters and he loves her so far!
Everyone I have talked to says she is the best...
so we are looking forward to a great year for him.

FIRST SCRIMMAGE

Noah also had his first scrimmage today after school.
It started out a little slow, but the boys ended up doing well
and won the scrimmage against the other Lone Peak Team!

Noah is number 15 this year.
He picked that number because it was Daniels number last year
and also Max Halls Number (BYU quarterback)

Loved the view from our driveway this morning........
Also, Noah and I are excited about our pumpkins that we planted.
We have about 8 growing that we can see, but the one below is the biggest so far.
It is our first year ever growing our own pumpkins..........
