(I love this picture)
Saturday was the start of Football Games for us with a day filled with football
starting with Daniels game against the other L.P. team.
Daniels team came away with the win
with a score of 8 to 0.
Daniel was responsible for the touchdown drive and extra points!
He did a great job!!
I love watching his age group play football!
Calling the play in the huddle....
and on the line of scrimmage.
#8 on the other team (next to #89)
is one of Daniels best friends. Richie Winn.
They really wanted to be on the same team this year......
We laughed when we saw him in this picture watching Daniel.
After the game even though they won the game
the team gets to listen to the coach tell them everything they need to do better
for the next game!!
Next.....
We went to Noah's game!
Boy what an improvement he has made over last year.......
this year he rarely came out of the game playing both
offense and defense.
Unlike last year when he barely went into a game.
They played an Orem team
and beat them 54 - 0
(that is not a typo)
You know it is bad when as a parent you start hoping the other team will score!
I love these pictures where you see the name on the back of the Jersey!
They are my favorite!
He has to have N. Patterson on his Jersey because James cousins son also plays
on the team and he has the last name Patterson too!
Noah loves having the N on his jersey.
He thinks it makes him more special than Daniel and Hunter who just have "Patterson"!
There is a lot of pushing and shoving going on in this age group.
Love this picture!
It looks like he is having a conversation with the ref!
So cute!
After the morning of victories,
(the team Bobby coaches also won)
We took everyone out to lunch/dinner
and let Daniel and Noah pick where we went.
Of course they picked Chuck o Rama for their victory dinner!
Something about getting to eat all you want and whatever you want!
If you just want deserts that is o.k.
After that we headed up to the University of Utah
where Lone Peak was playing Mountain Crest.
Mountain Crest is one of the top 4A teams in the state and was expected to win!
Surprise! Lone Peak was victorious 23-13!
Hunter Playing on the Pink Barbie Phone!
Noah just looks EVIL!
Funniest Picture!
Just what is #88 putting in that kids pants!
Chase Hansen is the quarterback and lives in our ward.
He had over 400 yards of offense!
It was a good game for him!
After the Lone Peak game we stayed and watched the
Bingham - Alta Game.
The last 5 years one of these two teams has won the 5A Championship.
So we were watching the best of high school football.
Bingham won 49 - 26.
The fun thing about playing/watching at Rice Eccles Stadium
was being able to watch the replays on the big screen!
After a long hot day of Football games
the ride home was pretty Quiet!
Fun Saturday full of Football!
Best of all.....full of wins!
Winning isn't everything, but it is a lot more fun than losing!
