6th Grade Valentine Dance

Thursday was the annual 6th Grade Valentine Dance
at the Elementary School.
The 6th graders have been learning how to dance several kinds
of dances for the last month in preparation for the dance.
They learned The Swing, Waltz, Cha-Cha, Country two step, Slow Modern
and also a couple of Line Dances.
They were all so excited for the dance.
It was weird to see "Boys" so excited for a dance,
but Hunter and his friends,
that's all they have been talking about for weeks.
Hunter even wanted to get a new black shirt
and pink tie for the occasion!!!
They invite the parents to come watch and even dance
if we wanted to!
After the dance Hunter said it was the best part of 6th grade so far this year!

He invited Autumn to do the Waltz with him!

He seemed to spend a lot of time looking at his feet! :)

The teachers do a good job of teaching the dances
and making it a fun experience for the kids!
