Good Luck Lone Peak Knights!

Daniel, Hunter And Noah!!

Back To School

Noah is so funny!
He wanted to do a little fashion show for me of his new school clothes
to decide what to where for the first day of school tomorrow.
He only tried on one thing and liked it so much that was all he needed
to decide that this is what he is wearing!
So the fashion show was short!
But isn't he going to look so cool on his first day.....
I wanted to take his pants back because they look too short to me,
but for some reason he thinks they look cool that way
because you can see his cool new high tops!

For some reason when he puts on the high tops he turns into Michael Jackson
and he has some pretty sweet dance moves!
I was laughing so hard I had tears!

He wanted to pretend like he was doing homework.....
no need to pretend much longer.
We will be dealing with homework again soon enough!
I personally am excited for tomorrow.
Noah has been so bored the last couple of weeks he has been driving me crazy.
At one point I wasn't sure he would live to see 2nd grade!
So I am happy to report that he has lived and will start
grade 2 tomorrow! Oh Happy Day!!!!!!

Sundays.........

Every Sunday I get the same question asked a million times.....
"Are Summer and Scott coming up today?"
The boys love it when Summer and Scott come to dinner
and bring the little boys!
This last Sunday was full of the boys building Lego's.
Both Noah and Dakota are way into Lego's right now.
If you ask Noah he will tell you that Dakota is
just a big fat copier............
He doesn't like that Dakota likes everything he does.
He even got mad at me for telling Summer what store to find a certain Lego at!
He is so funny.................................

Noah is into the City Lego's right now and wants to build a whole city!

His airplane one is pretty cool!

Bridger right before he decides he wants to break one............
He knows he is going to get a scream out of someone!

Dakota showing us his Transformer shirt!

In the afternoon it was pouring down rain.
You can't really tell in the pictures but it was a major down pour.
The boys all went outside and took their shirts off and played in it.

Hunter doing what he always does,
Beat up on Noah.........

Dakota follows Hunters example and gives Bridger a toss off of the tramp!
Brothers!!!!!!!!

"Sunday Night Football"
Let the Fun Begin!!!
In the evening we watched the Vikings/San Francisco Game!
Vikings are Daniels favorite team......
Brett Farve is one of my favorite players right now........
So glad he decided to come back and play one more year!
Hope his old body can hold out for one more..............

Vikings did not win......
Brett Farve only played 4 downs.
Just a pre season game!
Looking forward to the season opener of the Vikings vs. Saints!
That will be a fun game at our house because
the Saints are Hunters favorite team,
and Bobby picked Drew Brees as his Fantasy Quarterback
so he will be yelling for the Saints
where as Daniel and I will be yelling for the Vikings!
A little rivalry always makes things fun!!!

Gotta love Sundays!!!!

Hobble Creek 1/2 Marathon

On Saturday Summer, Scott, Autumn and James ran in the
Hobble Creek 1/2 Marathon!
Everyone liked it except Autumn who said she will never, ever do it again!

Utah State

On Saturday McKenzie and I went to Logan and moved her into her apartment!
She was very excited with the size of her closet
and with the many drawers and storage areas that she had in her room!

She spent forever organizing her clothes!
I didn't know she was such a freak about having everything color coded
and facing the same way on the hangers.......
she has a few O.C.D. tendencies I was not aware of!

We went shopping while we were there and got some fun things for her room.
Everything was either bright pink, orange or green!

Her one possession that she had to bring,
and had to hang in her room was her Michael Jackson picture
that Chase gave her.
She didn't think her room mate was too fond of it so she hung it in her closet!
So nice, always thinking of others!!!!!!!
She did meet a couple of her roommates and they seem like great girls!
I am so excited for her to be going to school at Utah State.
Was not particularly crazy about the
fact that the apartment next door is full of boys,
but had to keep reminding myself that this is not BYU!
She is going to love it though!

McKenzie made this mug for me at Color Me Mine!
Kind of a going away present for mom to remember her by!
I love it!

Packing up the last few things that she took up with her Sunday evening
when she drove back by herself for good,
or at least until she comes home in a week or two!!!

Saying good bye to mom and dad!
Can't believe she has gone off to college!
Now it is just me and a house full of boys!
Can't say I am too thrilled about that!

Hey McKenzie! I am sure you are looking at this at school!
We love you! We are going to miss you!
Home won't be the same without all of your drama!
Have fun!

Sunday, August 15

Hunters Scrimmage

Hunter also had a scrimmage this past week

on Friday morning!

It was fun to watch and he is doing a good job this year.

He is very excited about his team!

Hunter is all white!

Not sure why this picture is not turning!

Oh Well!

Good Job Hunter!

Alpine Days 5K
James, McKenzie, and Autumn ran in the 5K.
Noah and I ran and walked. I let Noah decide,
so mostly we walked and would run down the hills when we had them.
James finished 2nd in his age group and McKenzie finished 4th in hers.
All I know about Noah and I is that we were not last!!!!

Noah stopped at somebodies drinking fountain for a drink!

Taking his time.........

After James finished he ran back to Noah and I to try and help me hurry Noah along!
I was proud of Noah. He did a good job, did not complain, and finished!!

He was a good walking companion for Mom...
and I enjoyed spending the time with him talking about whatever
he happened to want to talk about!

Bank of American Fork Hot Air Balloon

Sitting at the parade waiting for it to start.....

Not sure if this happens anywhere else but in Utah......
missionaries in the parade handing out Pass along Cards!

Bank of American Fork Float.
Not sure why they always have a pig!
Later in the afternoon we went to the
MAROON and GOLD High School Football Scrimmages!
So much Fun!
Daniel Played in the 9th grade scrimmage
and did a good job!
He only played quarterback in two series,
but had a really nice long run to the 1 yard line
and then threw a touch down pass!
I am excited for the real games to start in a couple of weeks!
The Jerseys are maroon with black numbers which make it really hard to see who is who...
but Daniel is wearing the black socks with the white stripe at the top.
He is # 5 this year!

I do like that they put their names on in gold!
They are easy to see and read!

At the park today Noah got some tattoos that he is very proud of!
Top one is on his arm and is of
Michael Jackson who he loves and loves to dance like!
Below is a Gekko Lizard on his leg.
He also has a spider on the top of his foot, but I did not get a picture of it!

At the fireworks we got the boys some Light Sabers to play with
while we were waiting for the Fireworks to start!

And then there were the Fireworks to finish off the Alpine Days Celebration!

Everyone had a Great Time as Always!
