Daniels team played the other Lone Peak team.
Many of his friends are on this team.
They are the second place team behind Daniels team.
Their only loss before this game was to Daniels team
and they were now playing each other again
so they were out for revenge,
and Daniels team was wanting to hold onto 1st place!
Daniel was Quarterback again for the full game!
They did win, 29 - 13!
The first quarter really decided the game because it was 22 - 6
at the beginning of the 2nd quarter.
The rest of the game was a hard fought battle!
Daniel did pretty good and had some good runs.....
He had 93 passing yards and 40 rushing yards.
This is always an intense game because they are playing,
their friends, classmates, and some former team mates.
Everyone wants to have bragging rights at school!
Daniel has never had that before,
and this year he has had the opportunity to beat this team twice.
Makes up for the last 2 years, I guess.
It was a good game with both teams playing hard.
Daniel is at the bottom of this pile.............Ouch!
Because both teams are Lone Peak Knights,
Daniels team was called the "DARK KNIGHTS"!
Daniel liked that!
Their next tough game will be in 2 weeks against Pleasant Grove
who will also be out for revenge.........
