Wednesday Night Game...

Daniel's team played Spanish Fork.
They are an A team and one of the top teams in their South Conference.
They were pretty big and we were not expected to be able to compete with them.
Well, somebody forgot to tell our boys that, because it was basically a rout!
Daniel was the sole quarterback because the other quarterback
separated his shoulder and is expected to be out for a couple of games.
Daniel was excited to not have to share reps,
but at the same time carried the weight of the team on his shoulders
as all quarterbacks do.
But, he did great.....amazing in fact, and within the first 6 minutes
we were up 22-0, and one of those touchdowns Daniel ran in!
I was not worried after that..........

warming up before the game......

walking off some pre- game jitters....

getting ready to go out for the first offensive series of the night.......

calling the team into a huddle..........

running for his first touchdown of the night.....he had two!

I can't believe how long his hair is getting.....
look how much is hanging out of his helmet.
He has said he is not cutting his hair until the end of football season!
I am trying to have a positive attitude about it..........

Daniel really liked how this picture above turned out
even though it is blurry he thought it looked cool
because he is more clear and everyone else is blurry.

The game is nearly over with a score of 46 - 8!
Daniel ran in the last touchdown of the night......
He certainly looks a lot more relaxed than he did at the beginning of the game!
He even has a smile...He had every reason to be happy....
he had 68 rushing yards for 2 touchdowns,
and 120 passing yards for 2 touchdowns!
I was so proud of how well he did!

It was a great game and fun to see that they could come in and beat an A team!
(They have actually beat two other A teams!)
They have a tough game coming up on Saturday
with the 2nd place team in the League, we are 1st!
I am confident that Daniel will do well, and that they can win,
but we shall see........

Just a fun picture I took of sunset during the game!
