Ginger Bread Houses 2010

Saturday night we had our annual Gingerbread house making
family get together night.
We have been doing this so many years, I do not even remember when we started.
This year was a little different as each of our older kids had a date with them!
It was fun though and everyone seemed to have a good time,
and we got some really great houses done!

Noah this year made a village and actually did most of the work himself
with very little help from mom!

Not sure what is up with Hunter. He gave up on his house rather quickly
and mom had to take over and finish it for him.
It is posted further down the blog,
as is Daniels..........

McKenzie had her friend from Utah State with her.
His name is Kyle and the family just loved him....
as you can tell from Noah's little heart he is making over their heads!!
<3

Busy working,
and their finished projects below!!
I actually really liked McKenzie's because I loved how she used the big kiss
for the chimney and it looks like the little paper coming out is the smoke!
Great idea!!

Autumn and Matt working hard on one together.
They made theirs look like a log Cabin.

Their finished project.......
I like this one a lot too!

The above picture shows just a tiny bit of the mess and chaos
that goes into such a big family get together and making gingerbread houses!

Dakota did not really get into this and spent the evening playing downstairs with the Lego's.
But Bridger loved it and seemed to know just what to do.
Summer of course always has grand plans for their house and is always
disappointed that it looks like her kids did it.
I think it turned out great!

Summer and Bridger's finished house.

Bobby and his date Madeline.
Not sure why he has a hard time taking a picture!!

Their finished house.
They make a cute couple.........

Below is a side view of Bobby's house.
They worked hard on that roof......

Above is Hunter's finished house.
And below is Daniels finished house.
We did not have one football themed house this year...
that is so unusual............

Above is Aspen's house that mom did for her,
as well, I did the train below just for the heck of it.

Our finished Gingerbread Houses!
Now if I can just keep everyone from picking all of the candy off of them!
