Patterson Christmas Party

Last night was the annual Patterson Family Christmas Party
at Grandpa Patterson's house!
The best way to describe it is "organized chaos!"
So many people (60 or so)...but everyone seems to enjoy it.
And other than funerals, it is the only time the whole Patterson family gets together!

Sisters!!

McKenzie showing Dakota how to "really" color in a coloring book!
Dakota is so funny...he knows just what to do when you say "Smile"!

Looks like McKenzie knows how to smile too!!

Uncle Dave was having fun with Noah
seeing how many empty containers he could stack on his head.
The key was for Noah to not laugh.
As soon as he laughed they would all come tumbling down...

but, if he could hold still and be serious
he could get them pretty high....

Never could get up to seven though.....

a grueling and boring game of chess....

Bridger loves his Uncle Bobby!
He sticks to him like glue.....
Below, Bridger decided he did not really like salad.......
Ewwwwww!

Why is it so hard to get a descent picture of my kids????

Dave and Janis are always the life of the party...
every year they are in charge of the games.
this year they did a Bingo game,
and the prizes were the white elephant gifts that everyone brought.
The only things is that there are no rules to their BINGO game
and they kept changing things up, so no one really ever knew what was going on
or whether you really had a Bingo or not,
which means my family just started cheating,
as they do every year.....
weird no one has caught on yet........
You think people would start to wonder
when my kids always have the most presents at the end of the night!
Happens every year!

Bridger liked going through all of the presents....

Dakota loved the old used bowling pins
that he got as a white elephant gift.
He later traded them to Daniel for some other thing/toy
that Daniel had!
Daniel is displaying them in his room on a shelf!!!

It was a fun night for the family!
Always the Sunday before Christmas,
which really gets the kids in the mood for Christmas......
and starts the beginning of my anxiety and puts me into complete panic mode!!
